Ignorant people surprised to find Ignorance is no defence….
Nurses, doctors, even low level bureaucrats are enduring a swathe of lawsuits claiming they were negligent by not realising that genetic experiments with death and severe injury observed as side-effects could cause death and severe injury. As is standard practice, these groups are deflecting the blame onwards, and have found a ready scapegoat in school English departments.
“At the very least, there should have been a saying axiom, proverb, adage, expression or quote to warn us” Says one defendant Newt Remburg.
In an effort to warn future generations, he is drafting what he calls a Newt Remburg Code, which would prevent future generations from falling into the trap of relying too heavily on blaming other people.
While Newt has been publicly criticised for being unrealistic, he maintains that he is not seeking ‘pie in the sky’ ideals like critical thinking skills for every adult on the planet. Rather, Newt believes that perhaps an AI could be developed which tells people via social media which thoughts or actions will be safest.
Meanwhile, legal experts are confident the spate of lawsuits will be largely dismissed, as most of them rely on outdated and obscure legal concepts such as ‘duty of care’ or ‘informed consent’.
